STEETON can today announce the departures of Alfie Gibbon and Gregorio Barnett II.
Defender Gibbon, who joined in October 2023 and went on to win the club’s Player of the Year award last season, leaves to pursue a playing opportunity at Step 5.
Known as the ‘Steeton Puyol’ during his year at Marley Stadium, Alfie has signed with NCEL Premier Division outfit Thackley.
American winger Barnett joined the club in August following a successful trial period.
‘Gee’ as he was known has opted to seek more regular playing time after being limited to substitute appearances during his brief period in green and white.
