Volunteers

Behind the Team

The absolute engine room and reason as a football club we are able to function isn’t the 11 players on the pitch it’s the volunteers that deliver the ability for those 11 players to be able to play. So who are these volunteers and what do they do? More on what they do in a minute but first who are the volunteers;

Volunteers are everybody who enables but doesn’t play for the team, from the team manager to the programme seller, from the club secretary to the ball boy. Every one of these positions is voluntary, there is no payment received only the thanks of the team and a bond of friendship created through a common goal of helping the club.

Join Our Great Team of Volunteers

Does the club need more volunteers, YES. The ability to be able to call on somebody to help the club maybe not every game but occasionally cannot be understated. Do you need special skills, certificates or qualifications to be a volunteer? Sometimes the role requires a level of experience or an ability due to its role but generally no, just a good level of enthusiasm. Please contact the club for more information ASAP.
