Steeton AFC 2025/26 Fixtures Released

STEETON can this morning reveal our full and complete fixture list for the 2025/26 North West Counties Football League Division One North campaign.

Following last month’s season opener, a goalless draw with Fulwood Amateurs, and our August schedule also announced in due course, this morning has seen the remainder of the fixture list revealed by the league.

The remainder of the fixtures are opened in September with the short journey to Bacup Borough for what will be Brent Peters’ and his sides first home fixture of the season.

Now the only Yorkshire club remaining in the league, our ‘local’ derby this season comes in the shape of recently relegated Colne.

And its seasonal greetings for both of our meeting with the Reds as we welcome them to Marley Stadium on Boxing Day, the visit to the Haffners Eats Stadium coming on Easter Monday.

Their fellow relegated side, Squires Gate, host the Chevrons in mid-November with their trip to Marley opening the new year in early January.

With our first ever meeting with Fulwood Amateurs already ticked off, our first meeting against their fellow newly promoted outfit, MSB Woolton, comes in early October.

However, their home of Jericho Lane is a familiar hunting ground for Steeton with the club recording victories in all our previous visits to the ground during South Liverpool’s time in the division.

Speaking of away days, two of our three away fixtures towards the back end of the season in March bring with them added intrigue.

On Sunday 1st March, we head to the Ginge Power Stadium to face Daisy Hill for a 2:30pm kick-off.

The reason for the date and kick-off time is that the fixture is included in the 2026 NWCFL Groundhop weekend.

And later in the month we head the only new venue awaiting the Chevvies this campaign in the form of The Green when we make our first ever visit to Fulwood Amateurs on Saturday 21st March.

Two more fixtures that will no doubt be on all the calendars of the Chevvies will be the meetings with our good friends at Droylsden.

The Bloods come to Marley in early December, with love firmly in the air when we make the trip to the Butcher’s Arms on Valentines Day.

The season comes to an end in April when after an Easter double header on the road against both Garstang and Colne, we conclude at Marley Stadium with the visit of the Holker Old Boys.

All fixtures are subject to change.
