STEETON are today delighted to announce the signing of Emmanuel Amole.
The tricky winger returns to Marley for a second spell with the club after a previous spell in green and white at the beginning of the 2023/24 season.
Arriving at the Chevrons ahead of last season, ‘Manny’ would impress in pre-season and cement a place in the starting side at the beginning of the campaign.
Earning rave reviews and a catchy chant from the Chevvies faithful in the process.
Amole would make 9 appearances in which time he scored one goal, a wonder strike to seal victory against Darwen at Marley.
Leaving in the October to join Eccleshill United, the winger’s stint in Wrose would be brief as he departed to return back home and finish the campaign in the Cheshire League with Whalley Range.
Prior to this, in his early career, Emmanuel was a product of the Manchester United academy before furthering his career in Non-League following his release from Old Trafford in the Manchester League.
No stranger to the North West Counties Football League, Amole also plied his trade for Burscough and Atherton Laburnum Rovers before his initial stint with Steeton.
This season to date, the winger has taken some time away from the game but has now opted to return to the pitch and once again don the famous green and white.
