STEETON are today delighted to announce the signing of Lewis Shillito.
Arriving at Marley ahead of Saturday’s visit of Droylsden, Shillito is a striker by trade and ends Roy Mason’s long search to add to his attacking ranks.
Beginning the season in the NCEL Division One with Doncaster based outfit Armthorpe Welfare, Lewis scored two goals during his time with the club against Dronfield Town and Cammell Laird.
Chances however have recently proved restricted at Armthorpe and the striker has now made the decision to move on and become a Chevvie following being recommended to the club by now teammate Jacob Smith.
The striker though has impressed this season within the student game, proving a regular goalscorer for the Leeds Beckett University side.
Everyone here at the club would like to welcome Lewis and are looking forward to seeing the striker in action throughout the second half of this campaign.
Lewis is available to sponsor for the remainder of the 2024/25 season.
