STEETON have today discovered their opposition in the First Round of the 2024/25 West Riding FA Senior County Cup.
The draw, held at the West Riding FA Headquarters in Leeds, has handed the Chevrons an away tie against familiar foes in the form of Campion.
The Manningham based outfit, who fell just short of promotion to Step 4 last season, have had a mix start in the league so far this campaign but have found success in the cup competitions.
This was shown recently as they took Blyth Spartans of the Northern Premier League to a replay following a draw live on the BBC before only losing the subsequent replay late on in extra time the following Wednesday evening.
The two sides most recently met during pre-season back in July, with Roy Mason’s side recording a 3-2 victory.
Steeton also have bragging rights in competitive fixtures with both meetings in the semi-professional game, coming during the 2021/22 season, seeing the Chevrons complete a league double.
Full details for this fixture, to be played at the 1st Glass UK Stadium, will be confirmed in due course.
