STEETON can today confirm the arrival of Fermin Fernandez whilst also announcing the departure of Yianni Abbas.
Midfielder Fernandez joins us on a dual-registration agreement from Silsden.
Making two appearances for the Cobbydalers to date so far this season, this arrangement allows Fermin to get some much needed gametime under his belt whilst also bringing in a direct replacement for recently departing players.
Of both Spanish and Sierra Leonen decent, he was thrust into regular gametime in the National League North, along with new teammate at Marley Majed Alasttal, as Farsley Celtic struggled following the clubs well documented financial difficulties.
Since leaving Throstle Nest, Fermin has been a regular at Step 4 in recent years having also played for Emley and Brighouse Town prior to his arrival on the other side of the roundabout.

Fellow midfielder Abbas joined the club ahead of this summer from Bradford Park Avenue.
Becoming a mainstay in the side following arrival at Marley, he would go on to make a total of 12 appearances for the club, scoring a solitary goal in his final appearance against Ashton Athletic.
He leaves us to join Route One Rovers in Division One of the NCEL.
