STEETON are today delighted to announce a further three new signings have joined the club.
Oliver Gollcher, Marley Spence, and Jude Darko, have become manager Roy Mason’s latest recruits ahead of the beginning of the season this weekend.
Goalkeeper Gollcher is no stranger to the Chevvies faithful.
Arriving on dual-registration last season from Bury, Oliver would make five appearances for the club in the absence of Brad Emmerson following his suspension for a red card against Daisy Hill in March.
Returning to Gigg Lane at the conclusion of the season, the keeper has since been released by the Shakers.
With Emmerson suspended for the beginning of this season, Mason has moved quick to bring Gollcher back to the club on a permanent basis.
Joining Oliver at Marley Stadium are the midfield pair of Marley and Jude.
Spence arrives following his release from Guiseley.
The latest in a long line of products from the Lions academy to join us here at Steeton, he brings Step 6 experience from his spell on dual-registration last season with Nostell Miners Welfare.
During his time at Nethermoor, Marley went viral for a spectacular bicycle kick against Solihull Moors in a FA Youth Cup tie.
An exciting midfield with an attacking presence, Darko is a player guaranteed to get Steeton fans of their seats.
Joining following his departure from Ossett United, he brings experience across both Step 5 and Step 6 of the pyramid with Yorkshire Amateur as well as spells at Step 7 with Field Olympic and Robin Hood Athletic.
Jude scored a number of goals for Ossett’s youth team during their run in the FA Youth Cup last season.
