STEETON have this morning discovered our full fixture list for the 2026/27 season ahead of the start of the campaign next Saturday.
Our opening month’s fixtures being released a fortnight ago meant the Chevvies knew that our ninth consecutive season in the First Division North would begin on the 1st of August with a trip to Daisy Hill.
However, we can now plan for the full year ahead with our calendar locked in for the season.
And it will be our biggest and longest season at this level to date with the expansion of the division to 22 teams meaning we will face 42 league fixtures.
In turn this guarantees a minimum of 46 matches in total with entries into the FA Vase, Macron Cup, First Division Cup, and West Riding County Cup.
Following an opening month of the season that sees up link up with familiar foes in the First Division North, the months that follow see first ever meetings with Flixton, Uppermill, Cammell Laird 1907, Ashville, and Halewood Apollo.
We will also meet AFC Knowsley in the league for the first time with our first meeting taking place in August in the First Division Cup.
There is also the addition of a seventh new ground to visit in the shape of Simpsons Hub following Woolton’s move to their traditional home ground following a groundshare with South Liverpool last season.
The traditional Boxing Day and Easter Monday fixtures will see us face Colne for the second consecutive year.
The season then ends in mid-April with the visit of Thornton Cleveleys to Marley Stadium.
