STEETON manager Roy Mason has completed his recruitment ahead of the new campaign with a further six new signings.
With the league season beginning tomorrow away at Daisy Hill, the manager has brought in a final sextuple of recruits.
Prioritising the striker position to bolster his attacking options, a trio of forwards have been brought to Marley Stadium.
The pair of Reece Mullins and Charlie Howard both join us from Brighouse Town.
Graduates of the ESPFA academy, they both made their first team breakthroughs at Step 4 last season in the Northern Premier League Division One East.
Regularly featuring and impressing in an otherwise struggling team against established non-league giants such as Bradford Park Avenue, North Ferriby, and Blyth Spartans, they have opted to remain in the semi-professional game following Brighouse’s voluntary relegation to Step 8.
They are joined by fellow striker Adam Terrelonge-Jones who joins from Bradford United.
A regular at Step 7 during his time with the grassroots club, he has previous experience at Step 5 with Thackley.
Following him to Steeton from Bradford United is his team mate Myles Bishop.
The midfielder arrived at the beginning of pre-season as a trialist but has impressed in both games and training to earn a permanent deal with the Chevvies.
Completing the line-up is defensive duo Akinloye Aremu and Tyler Foley.
Aremu is a towering presence who contributes both at the back and in attack.
A regular name of the scoresheet whilst in the youth ranks at previous club Ossett United, ‘Loye’ adds a different dimension for Mason in his backline.
Foley, the brother-in-law of fellow Chevvie George Kelly, joins us from amateur side Ventus in Yeadon and offers another defensive option for the new campaign.
