Steeton AFC are today delighted to announce the return of Jacob Holgate to the club.
Jacob, who can play either in defence or midfield, played for the Chevrons during the 2021/22 season following the return to action after the Pandemic.
Since then, he has gone on to feature regularly in the first team at first Nelson, before moving onto Barnoldswick Town.
During his time at the Sewers, he was a part of the side that won the Macron Cup last season after they defeated Chadderton in the final at Accrington Stanley’s Wham Stadium.
From there, Holgate moved onto Darwen in the summer to re-unite with his former manager Andy Harrison.
However, after Harrison’s departure for Colne led to the appointment of Leighton Mills at the Anchor Ground, his playing time became restricted and he has made the decision to now return to Steeton.
Jacob is available to sponsor for the remainder of the 2024/25 season.
