August Draw Winners

Steeton romped to a 6-0 win over West Yorkshire side Ilkely Town yesterday.

Lee Reilly struck a first half hat trick and Josh Metcalfe and Danny Driver saw The Chevron's race into a 5-0 half time lead.

Metcalfe added a sixth later on in the game.

Steeton fielded Danny Thorpe in goal and he was rarely troubled as the home side didn't cause too many problems for Steeton's rear guard. Joe Park also featured in the second period following a spell away from the club.

This week see's two games with Settle United being the visitors to Summerhill Lane on Wednesday and Skipton LMS on Friday. Both games kick off at 6.30 and there again will be a couple of new faces playing in the last two pre season games before the season starts.

Pre Season Update

Steeton continued pre season with a 3-2 win over Rimmington on Saturday. Lee Reilly grabbed a first half brace and Casey Dowthwaite headed a late winner.

This week sees the reserves entertain Bradley on Wednesday night at Summerhill Lane. Kick of is 6.30.

Saturday sees the first team travel to Ilkley, whilst the reserves entertain Cross Hills. Both games kick off at 2.30 pm.

Pre season update

A Steeton XI will travel to Cross Hills tonight for our third pre season game. The side will be made up of players who have not featured much or at all this pre season. Clark O'Dwyer and Adam Longden will take a very young side over tonight, which will include a couple of sixteen year olds and trialists.

Kick off is 6.30


This Saturday see's Rimmington visit Summerhill Lane in a further pre season game, manager Roy Mason will be back from holiday to take charge of proceedings. This game kicks off at 2.30 and again a few new faces are expected to feature.
