4-4 draws for both teams

Sun 07 Sep 2014

Both teams played out exciting 4-4 draws on non league day.

The first team came from behind to claim a share of the points with three goals in the last fifteen minutes. Lee Reilly hit a hat trick and Damien Whiteoak struck the other.

The reserves went to the top of the table side Thornes and but for a harsh penalty they would have returned with all three points. Ross Bailey scored twice, with Josh Huntley and Casey Dowthwaite also on the scoresheet.

Simon Pickles pictures of our game with Littletown are on our Facebook page and the match report is on the forum.

Mon 01 Sep 2014

A 95th minute penalty from Lee Reilly ensured Steeton grabbed a share of points on Saturday in a thrilling game at Summerhill Lane.

Tim Hird and a earlier spot kick from Reilly had put us 2-0. Storthes then pulled a goal back before Joe Park restored the two goal advantage.

The Huddersfield then responded in superb fashion racing into a 4-3 lead before the late drama ensured that The Chevron's got their season up and running at last.
