This weeks games
The first team entertain league leaders, Golcar on Saturday. The Huddersfield based side have only lost two games all season.
The reserves travel to Wakefield City as they look to build on a run of three league games un-beaten since Andy Foster took over as manager.
Both games kick off at 2.30
The club is holding a race night at Goats Head this Saturday. The event starts at 7.30pm and everybody is welcome.
Wins for both teams
Steeton got back to winning ways following a 4-1 win at Halifax Irish. A brace from Lee Reilly adeed to earlier goals from Mark McGee and Graham Holmes ensured Steeton got the reward their dominance deserved.
The reserves best Bradford Horton Sports 4-0. All the goals came in the first half, with a Andy Briggs double and further strikes from Ben Sutcliffe and Greig Hudson saw them wrap the game up before the break.
The under 18's face Oxenhope tomorrow at Summerhill Lane at 1.30
The Under 18's beat Oxenhope this afternoon in what was to be a game of two double headers. However as the rain came down the referee deemed the pitch unplayable for the second game as it was postponed.
This was on the back of Steeton winning the first game which was one of two 25 minute halfs. Steeton took the lead when Jonson Butterfield was pulled down in the box and Josh Ferguson despatched the penalty home. Sam Fox doubled the lead when he headed home Joe Mason's cross. Jack Wriggleworth was on hand to tap in a third before Tom Leach converted after good work from Harry McGowan.
