Under 18's

Sun 01 Mar 2015

The Under 18's beat Oxenhope this afternoon in what was to be a game of two double headers. However as the rain came down the referee deemed the pitch unplayable for the second game as it was postponed.

This was on the back of Steeton winning the first game which was one of two 25 minute halfs. Steeton took the lead when Jonson Butterfield was pulled down in the box and Josh Ferguson despatched the penalty home. Sam Fox doubled the lead when he headed home Joe Mason's cross. Jack Wriggleworth was on hand to tap in a third before Tom Leach converted after good work from Harry McGowan.
