Pre Season Training

Wed 01 Jul 2015

Pre season training will start on Tuesday July 7th at Marley. The sessions will run from 7pm - 9pm and we will also be training on Thursday's.

Any new players are invited down as the club looks to not only strengthen it's senior team, but also it's Under 18 team which is being re vamped, as the majority of last seasons players are now too old.

Any questions then please contact first team manager, Roy Mason, via email mason@steetonafc.co.uk

Rob Horton

Sat 06 Jun 2015

The club yesterday were informed by first team assistant manager, Rob Horton, that he would be stepping down from his role. With work commitments increasing, Rob felt that he no longer was able to devote the time that is needed to the role. Rob placed on record his thanks to the players for always giving him 100% during training sessions and fir the support he received from them during the last few years in the role.

Rob has been instrumental in the part he has played in the clubs resurgence over the past few years and has provided first team manager, Roy Mason great support in the most successful period in the clubs history. He has helped guide rage club to a County Cup final in 2013/14 and a league runners up slot in 2012/13 as well as winning two Keighley Cups. Indeed he managed the side in the 2012/13 win over Silsden Whitestar (pictured)

The club would like to thank Rob for all his efforts over this period and wish him all the best for the future and hope that he will still remain involved in the club when his work load eases.

The search now starts for a replacement and any interested persons are asked to contact manager, Roy Mason for more details
