League Cup Semi Final

Wed 26 Apr 2017

Steeton bowed out of the league cup last night after Joe Jagger produced a second half master class to turn the game on it's head. Two Graham Holmes goals had put us in a commanding position beofre Jagger reduced arrears with a fantastic free kick. He then rattled in a further three goals and Callum Wheatley struck a fifth before Lee Reilly pulled a goal back. Steeton had suffered an early blow as Tim Hird was forced to leave the field after only fifteen minutes with a hamstring injury and with one or two more carrying injuries it proved a game to far for us.

We travel to Littletown this Saturday for our final Saturday league game before we travel to Campion on Friday May 5th.

The reserves travel to Tyersal tonight. Kick off is 6.15
